My Approach
It starts with listening.
Most people who come to see me have already tried something. They've rested, stretched, Googled, maybe seen someone else. And they're still not where they want to be.
What I've found is that the missing piece is usually pretty simple: no one has taken the time to look at the full picture. Not just where it hurts, but how the whole body is moving, what's changed, and what's driving the pattern.
That's where I start. Every time.
Is This a Good Fit?
You're dealing with something that hasn't fully resolved, whether it's a new injury, persistent pain, or the kind of tension that builds up when life is demanding and you keep pushing through anyway.
You want to understand what's actually happening in your body, not just follow a protocol someone handed you.
You're ready to do the work, and you want someone in your corner who will explain the why, not just the what.
I work extensively with women navigating pregnancy and postpartum recovery, and with athletes working through injury or returning to movement. But the common thread isn't a diagnosis - it's a person who's tired of guessing and ready for clarity.
Overview
The Full Picture
I don't treat symptoms in isolation. When someone comes in with lower back pain, I'm looking at how they move from the ground up. We look at their feet, hips, core, all of it. When someone is recovering postpartum, I'm thinking about how pregnancy changed the way their body loads and compensates.
This whole-body view isn't a philosophy statement. It's practical. Treating just the painful area is often why people keep coming back to the same problem.
Understanding the Why
One of the most consistent things I hear from patients is that no one has ever explained what's actually going on. They've been given exercises, told to rest, told to push through, but not told why.
I make it a point to explain every step. This includes detailing what I'm finding and what it means, then what we're going to do about it and why. When you understand the why, you can actually use it.
A Path That Fits Your Life
There's no standard plan here. Two people can have the same complaint and need completely different approaches depending on their history, their goals, and what their body is doing.
My job is to figure out what's specific to you, and build something that's realistic for your actual life, not an ideal version of it. We’re looking for steady progress over time, not just a quick fix.
