Soft Tissue Therapy

Soft tissue therapy addresses restrictions in the muscles, tendons, ligaments, fascia, and nerves that are often at the root of pain and limited movement.

When you experience an injury, or accumulate stress through repetitive movement and postural habits, the body lays down scar tissue and develops areas of restriction. Over time, those restrictions change how you move and which muscles pick up the slack. Soft tissue therapy works to release that tension, break up scar tissue, and restore normal tissue function.

Dr. Kelli is trained in several soft tissue techniques, including Graston, Active Release Technique, cupping, and FAKTR (Functional and Kinetic Treatment with Rehab). The right approach depends on what's happening in your body, and often a combination of techniques produces the best results.

Soft tissue therapy pairs naturally with chiropractic adjustments and rehab, allowing the whole system to respond and recover more effectively.
